About Us Believers

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

We humbly come before you, recognizing our frailties and weaknesses as human beings. We acknowledge that sin is inherent in us, and without your forgiveness, we would be bound for eternal separation from you.

Lord, we understand that genuine repentance is the gateway to receiving your divine forgiveness. We ask for the grace to humbly repent from our sins, recognizing that no sin is too big for your mercy to cover. We come before you, not in our own righteousness, but in the righteousness of your holy Son, Jesus Christ, who sacrificed himself as a ransom for our sins.

Father, as we confess our unrighteousness and misdeeds before you, we ask for your forgiveness. Like the publican in Luke 18, who could not even lift his eyes to you because of the greatness of his sins, so do we come, acknowledging that our good works cannot justify us, but your precious blood can wash us clean.

Lord Jesus, we plead for your forgiveness and pardon. Wash us, and we shall be clean. Pardon us, and we shall be forgiven. We confess each and every sin and transgression committed before you, and we ask for your mercy.

Father, we ask that you remember the sacrifice of your Son, Jesus Christ, on the cross and forgive our sins. Let your mercy be extended to us. Deliver us from the cycle of rising and falling, and grant us the strength to stand firm for you.

Lord, we confess our lack of strength and our tendency to keep sinning, even when we know it's wrong. We ask for your help to overcome our besetting sins and to walk triumphantly over sin, just as Jesus did while he was on earth. Help us to set our affections on eternal things, rather than the things of this world.

Father, we acknowledge that it is only by your Spirit that we can be kept from falling. We apologize for the times we have sinned and grieved the Holy Spirit. Please forgive us. We surrender ourselves to your Spirit, asking that he operates in every aspect of our lives so that we may not fail you.

Lord, impart in us the strength for righteous living, as only you can. We cling to you and ask for the forgiveness of our past sins. We also ask for the strength and grace to sin no more. Fulfill the promises of your word in our lives, that we may know you more and be made clean as white as snow.

Create in us clean hearts, O God, and renew a right spirit within us. Restore unto us the joy of your salvation and uphold us with your free Spirit. May your blessings be upon us and may your face shine upon us, granting us the strength to walk in obedience to your Word.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
